Cuba’s history dates back to 1938, making Cuba one of the truly enduring classics. The 37-gram semi-round chocolate bar clearly evokes associations with the Caribbean and the exotic Latin American. When Cuba was launched in 1938, Nidar was inspired by the big foreign countries, and several chocolates from that time were named after exotic countries.
The production of Cuba was originally a solid dose of handicraft and the chocolate was primarily sold as a confectionery. Today, Cuba is made at Nidar’s modern chocolate factory in Trondheim.
